Place

The dwelling as medium.

Circadian architecture is not a style of furniture. It is the craft of letting light, dark, air, and quiet do honest work for the people who live there.

Light

Morning light is a signal; evening brightness is a cost. Windows, lamps, and screens are instruments. Arrange them so the day can rise and the night can land.

Dark and quiet

Sleep rooms deserve dark that is actual dark and quiet that is not a luxury item. Where full control is impossible, improve the edge conditions you can touch.

Rooms with jobs

Give hard work, meals, and rest distinguishable spaces when you can. Continuity fails when every room is every room at every hour.

Stewardship, not perfection

Place is tended, not finished. Renters, travelers, and full houses still have levers: one better lamp, one quieter hour, one window that opens on purpose.

This is orientation for living spaces — not building-code advice or a real-estate product.
